SMX Davao has 3 function rooms and 5 meeting spaces that are ideal for all types of events. They have 5,200 square metres of space, which can hold anything from a crowd of 5,550 people to a private conference for 1. It covers 7,853 square meters. It is located in Davao's SM Lanang Premier Mall and connected to Park Inn by Radisson Hotel via a footbridge. This is the largest and most prominent privately-owned and -managed exhibition and convention center in the Philippine South.

SMX Davao is located within the SM Lanang Premier shopping center, which was designed using green architecture principles. This mall features the city's first rain capture system. It minimizes storm water peak flow, siltation and surface runoff water. Paver blocks are also used in the parking area. The cooling tower and bathroom facilities are made from recycled water. The basement parking area is equipped with park finders that reduce carbon emissions. LED and skylights make it easy to consume energy efficiently.
