We are grateful that you have chosen the New York Wind Band Festival to be your music tour. We strive to give the best possible performance experience.
Our mission is to provide young musicians an opportunity to grow musically while creating lasting memories. The festival will be held at the prestigious Carnegie Hall to enhance the experience. The festival accepts only four high school ensembles and one showcase university group.
ENSEMBLES : Community bands, high school bands and college bands.
Acceptare: Pentru a asigura calitatea, festivalul își limitează participarea la patru grupuri adjudecate și un grup de prezentare dintr-o universitate sau comunitate. Grupurile cărora li s-a refuzat intrarea din cauza capacității la festival, vor primi prioritate în anul următor.

Johnson, Festival Director and Artistic Director.Faculty members for past events have included composer Johan de Meij, Virginia Allen (formerly of The Juilliard School and The Curtis Institute of Music), Dr. James McRoy of Long Island University, and William V. Johnson Professor Emeritus of California Polytechnic State University.
Awarded: Each adjudicated team will receive an award based on their performance as judged by the adjudication committee. The number of Gold awards, Silver awards, and Bronze Awards is unlimited.
